Courts: For the 2017/18 we will have 2 courts in the Netball Hall and 1 court in the Badminton Hall

Cost: League fees for 2017/18 are as follows

Championship, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3    £385.00 (this is for 14 games @ £27.50 per game)
Division 4£412.50 (this is for 15 games @ £27.50 per game)

Winter League - Additional Information

Affiliation - 1st August 2017 - 31 September 2018

All players and Umpires who participate in the South Yorkshire League MUST be affiliated to England Netball (Individual Affiliation must be held)

Teams will be required to provide the following for each fixture (as per the umpire schedule)

  • Umpire - all umpires should hold as a minimum C award qualification
  • Scorer - should have knowledge of how to score

Please note: Teams who are playing in Division 4, should where possible should have a C award (as a minimum) umpire, however an umpire who has attended a C award umpire course (in the last 2 years) and is part of the South Yorkshire Mentor Programme and actively working towards their C award qualification will be eligible to umpire

Age Banding

All players must be over the age of 14 years of age at midnight on the 31 August/1 September prior to the commencement of the league playing season unless age banding permission is in place. All players who have granted age banding MUST have submitted the completed paperwork to the competition referee ahead of the player participating in the league.
